I should write this last night, but I was too tired to do anything....
Yesterday, I had lunch with teacher Amy, our homeroom teacher when we're freshman. She's really a nice teacher, though she said she did not build a great relationship with us, I think we have a good time when she was our homeroom teacher. "But I did learn something from it," she added later, "that's the function of a homeroom teacher--to be there, not negging, but letting them know there is a teacher who they can ask for a helping hand."
As a teacher-to-be, that is a great conception which I should bear in mind. At least a great starting point to remind myself from negging all the time.
